Becoming a Realtor® was a choice I made during a time similar to this. Inventory was high and Buyers were few and far between. There were far fewer loan programs available to help a Buyer make a purchase and interest rates were around 9%. People thought I was crazy to start a real estate career in such trying times. 17 years later I am still here and loving every minute of it.

Education has always been a key componet of my career. The world of real estate is forever changing, it never stays the same. Whether it be market conditions, technology enhancements, mortgage options, changing laws and regulations (both state and federal), forms used in a real estate transaction, Seller needs or Buyer needs, each and every day is a new day when it comes to selling real estate.

Being good at selling real estate has never been my goal. Being exceptional has. To make that goal a reality I continually invest in my career by working with the top real estate trainer in the United States and Canada, Brian buffini, each and every day. This investment allows me to bring the best to my clients no matter what the market conditions are. That is very important to me.

As my business grew my granddaughter Nichole started working with me. Part time, mostly behind the scenes, as she focused on finishing her education, getting married and having her first child Kyle. (He is the cutey on our home page and sometimes comes to the office to 'help' us out.) In 2008 Nichole decided to be a licensed Realtor® too. After all these years it was the ultimate compliment to now have her working with me side by side.

All along the way I have associated my business under the Long & Foster umbrella and have never wavered from that decision. Long & Foster is a strong and stable company that is always offering cutting edge services to assist their agents in assisting their clients. What a great combination when exceptional is the goal in selling real estate.

Though our associated office is located in Crofton, Nichole and I work a much wider area. After 17 years in the business and being 3rd and 4th generation Annapolitans, we have family, friends and clients living in adjoining counties as well. Over time we have spread our wings and our services far and wide. And over time we developed a network of Realtors® in areas where are wings have not touched, even as far away as the West Coast.

Selling real estate has never been just something I'll try and see if it works. It was a choice and a commitment I made years ago and have never wavered from. Nichole made that same choice and commitment and together we offer our real estate services to you, no matter what the market.
